Year 7 students are currently undertaking the topic of Water in the World. During this topic, students have studied water as a resource and the factors influencing water flows and the availability of water resources in different places.

They have been investigating the nature of water scarcity and assessing ways of overcoming it. Students have discussed variations in perceptions of people about the value of water and the need for sustainable water management. They have also investigated processes that continue to shape the environment including atmospheric or hydrologic hazards.

As part of this unit, they partook in a fieldwork excursion at Woronora Dam and Stanwell Park Reserve on Thursday 23rd March.
