I wish to announce Mrs Jennifer Bell will be leaving St Joseph’s at the end of term and taking up a position of Director of Studies at Edmund Rice College, Wollongong.

Mrs Bell has been at St Joseph’s for the last 12 years in both the positions of Curriculum Coordinator and Assistant Principal. We sincerely thank her for all her service to the community, the positive relationships with staff, students and parents and her contributions to personal growth and learning of students.

I personally have valued Mrs Bell’s support and the advice she has given to me as Principal and I sincerely wish her well for the future and the next phase of her professional journey.

School Organisation
Mrs Bell’s position will be advertised and filled during Term 3. I am on Long Service Leave from Week 10 Term 2 until Week 4, Term 3. During this time Mrs Bell will be the Acting Principal during the last week of Term 2 and Mr Brett Moran will be Acting Assistant Principal for the duration of my leave.

Mr Michael Shanahan will be picking up the Curriculum role as well as continuing with his current leadership role.

During Term 3, Mr Ray Wooby will be Acting Principal for the first 3 weeks. Mr Wooby is an experienced Principal from the Sydney Diocese who has been working with the school around student improvement in learning in Term 2 and will be continuing this work until the end of Term3.
