Year 10 UOW Future Finders Day 7th June

Year 10 students attended this day to open up an awareness of the courses offered by UOW and the pathways provided by UOW College. They also enjoyed the opportunity to explore the university campus and meet with ex-student mentors who provided a valuable insight into life at university. The day provided the students with support i their subject selection for their senior classes.

Year 10 TAPP Lesson 7th June

Year students had the opportunity to explore career clusters and further their decision making for subject selection.

• Apprenticeship Support Morning here at school July 26
• SES Workshop July 25
• Ongoing Year 12 career planning one to one interviews
• Expressions of Interest have been emailed to all Year 10,11 and 12 students for
  coming events including Apprenticeship Support Morningand BlueScope
  Engineering Cadetship talks at school, Medicine and Dentistry Webinar, SES
  Workshop
• Year 11 Future Me Mentoring- Year 11 Future Me - Website and Application Link
  Year 11 Future Me Online Mentoring program. Registration closes on Sunday 25
  June at 11.59pm. This program runs from 7th August – 5th September from 4.00-5.00pm on Mondays or Tuesdays, depending on student preference. All sessions are held via Zoom. UOW mentors will lead students through a series of topics, including exam preparation tips, application/resume building skills and pathways after high school.
• TAPP Lessons for Year 7,8 and 9 coming up July 25
• Med Entry Webinar 25th July 9am- 10 am
• UOW Early Admission applications open on Monday !
  Applications will open June 19 at the UOW Early Admission website and will close
  August 11.
• Starting next week, UOW, in partnership with InspirationEd are offering free HSC
  Support sessions either online (starting next week) or in person (starting 3 July).
  These free sessions will be hosted by UOW, but *presented by experienced HSCmarkers*. More information and registration is at bit.ly/uowhscsupport23
