YEAR 11 2020 SUBJECT INFORMATION EVENING - TUESDAY 4th JUNE 2019
On Tuesday Evening 4th June we will be holding the Year 11 2020 Subject Information Evening in the school Gym commencing at 6 pm. It is an expectation that all Year 10 students will attend this evening with at least one parent. Students are required to wear school uniform.
Yesterday, Year 11 students and parents were emailed the Subject Selection Handbook containing information and course outlines. It is recommended that students take some time over the weekend to possibly plan a draft pattern of study, including back up courses and bring this information on Tuesday evening so that you can attend the information sessions for the subjects you are interested in.

At this evening, students and parents will be provided with information regarding Stage 6 Courses and they will have the opportunity to listen to presentations from all Faculties in the subject areas that they are interested in. Further to this evening, students will have the opportunity to attend lunchtime information sessions, which will be communicated to students next week, to address any questions or concerns they have with their subject selection. Students are also strongly encouraged to speak with KLA Coordinators and the Curriculum Office for enquiries around their selected pattern of study for Stage 6.
Subject selection will be an online process commencing Tuesday 11th June. Information will be released to all students about this process next week via email.
YEAR 11 SEMESTER 1 REPORTS
Year 11 students this week received their Semester 1 Reports via the Portal. Parents are encouraged to access the Parent Portal to view/print your child's report. If you have any concerns regarding your child's report, please don't hesitate to contact the class teacher, KLA Coordinator or the Curriculum Office.
NAPLAN ONLINE 2019
Congratulations to all Year 7 and Year 9 students who successfully completed NAPLAN Online over the past 2 weeks. Our school coped extremely well with the online platform, only having issues on the very first day which was experienced by all schools. Credit must be given to our IT Department, namely Mr Danny Casolin, Ms Sandra Ward and Mr Cameron Dribbus who ensured that our school network was well in line to handle the capacity of download required for the tests. NAPLAN results will be distributed to Year 7 and Year 9 students as soon as available. The expectation is early Term 3.
YEAR 9 AND YEAR 10 HALF-YEARLY EXAMS
Year 9 and Year 10 students will sit half-yearly exams in Week 7 commencing Tuesday 11th June. Students will be issued with an exam timetable next week. Some exams will take place during normal timetabled class periods but exams for Religion, Science, HSIE and Mathematics will take place in the Gym as whole cohort exams.
