During our religion today this week, our class got the opportunity to go and have a look at the Vinnies Van. We were shown what types of items the van would give to the people in need. Kelly, who came and talked to us, spoke about how she has to face the ones in need and how it takes lots of pride for the ones in need to be able to come up to the van and either ask for food, water, clothes or even a place to stay for the night or two. 

We were also allowed to pretend we were Vinnies workers and we would go behind the table with all the items on it and the rest of the class would come up and ask for what they needed for them to be happy and safe. Overall our class learnt a lot on what the Vinnies mission/vision is and what they do for the people in need especially remembering to always start with compassion.
