St Joseph's students have the option to sit the Australian Mathematics Competition. This will be run on 2nd August 2023.

The Australian Mathematics Competition is one of Australia’s largest school based mathematics competitions. It features unique problems designed by Australia’s leading educators and academics, with the goal to demonstrate the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives.

We’d love for your child to participate in this competition. If your child would like to participate please opt in to the Compass event. Participants will also earn school house points for their house.

The cost associated with the Australian Mathematics Competition is $8. If you or your child have any questions regarding this competition, please encourage them to discuss with their Mathematics teacher or you can email Nicole Hensman (hensmann01@dow.catholic.edu.au).
