• Students will this week be issued with an order envelope.
• Photos can be ordered online (saves sending cash to school) by visiting the secure online advancedorderweb portal specifically set up for St Joseph's. Visit website advancedlife.com.au or the advancedaccess dashboard if you have previously set it up. Note our school online code is EYT LFZ GBV. These details can be found on the order envelopes as well.
• If you place an order order online you do not need to return the order envelope or send any money to school.
• We ask that if you are paying by cash your child brings the order envelope and required monies with them on the day and hand to the photographers when they get their photo taken. Please do not send to school earlier.  The school is unable to take cash payments on behalf of the photographer.
• Students are to wear full school uniform on the day (there will be no PE practical classes on the day). This includes blazers for all students and ties for the boys (with top button done up). As the photos are used for ID purposes students need to have hair tied back off their face as well. Other school uniform requirements will be strictly enforced such as earrings (number and size) as well as no facial piercings and the wearing of makeup. Students not meeting these expectations will not have their photo taken until they meet these expectations. Your support regarding this matter is greatly appreciated.
• Sibling/Family photos may be ordered online using the same details as above. To assist with organisation the cut off time for ordering sibling/family photos will be 11:59pm the day prior to photo day (Monday 24th June).
• A schedule for the day will be distributed to students closer to the day. Students who arrive late or need to leave early are asked to advise the school office as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made. If you are absent or miss your scheduled photo time, then you can still have your photo taken on the catch up day (Wednesday 24th).
• Traditionally families ordering photos receive a package that includes a portrait of each student in your child's year group. Student portraits are also published each year in the school year book. In 2019 the CEO have directed that we obtain permission from parents to publish photos in these settings as well as others (eg school website and social media). A recent audit shows most families have not returned the permission to use image form issued at the start of the year. Another copy of this consent note will be distributed with your child's payment envelope.  A copy is also included in this newsletter, as well as emailed home. To allow your child's portrait to be included in the year group collage distributed as part of the school photo packages as well as in the school Year Book we need this form returned prior to photo day. Students not returning the consent form will not have their photos included in either of these settings. This form must be returned by all students, regardless if previous consent has been provided.
