This week we said a sad farewell to Mrs Mayumi Abel. Sensei Abel has been part of our Languages faculty for the past 2 years. In that time, she has been a wonderful teacher supporting our students in their understanding of the Japanese language and culture. On top of this, Sensei Abel has regularly organised a range of extra-curricular activities for students to engage in such as Kendo (sword fighting), origami, sushi making and traditional Japanese morning teas.

All the students have a high level of respect for her and she will be sorely missed by the students and Language faculty in 2024. Fingers crossed we will see her back in 2025.
