On Monday at our Laudato Si liturgy, we launched our Joey's 2024 Vinnies Winter Appeal. This year we are supporting our local Albion Park community by collecting ring-pull cans, nappies or baby formula which will be donated to the St Vincent De Paul society. As a Catholic school community, we believe it is our duty and responsibility to act justly by aiding the disadvantaged in our communities. As Tony Young from Albion Park Vinnies explained at Monday's school assembly; "by generously providing food, we help people struggling financially so they can use their money for greater purposes such as rent and medical appointments".

 

The cans will be collected at the front office where students will receive TWO house points for every can donated. This fundraiser will run from Term 2, Week 4 until the end of Term 2, Week 10.
