This week our Joey's students celebrated Reconciliation Week. On Monday, we participated in the 2024 Reconciliation Walk from Warilla Surf Club to Reddall Park.

This year's event featured a significant moment as Thomas Hofman and Aiden Smith exchanged flags with a local Elder, symbolising our ongoing commitment to unity and reconciliation.

At school, we set up our Sea of Hands display in the memorial garden outside the library. The display was of the Aboriginal flag.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event a meaningful step towards fostering mutual respect and understanding within our community.

Also, a big thank you to Riley Hofman and the Commbank team for providing refreshments to our students attending.
