Red Dust Heelers Visit St Joseph's

This weekend the NWBL is hosting a huge weekend of Basketball.  Over 3 days, 4 teams compete in 8 games.  The competition leading Wollongong Rollerhawkes are hosting 3 competitors - Red Dust Heelers (WA), Sydney Metro Blue Hornets and Perth Wheelcats at the Shellharbour City Stadium and the Snakepit, Wollongong.

On Friday 28th June the school will host the Red Dust Heelers Basketball Team.  The Red Dust athletes are addressing and playing our Year 7 students, culminating in the match off against our staff.  As part of the celebration, the Wollongong Rollerhawkes and the Red Dust Heelers are offering a special opportunity for our community. If you would like to go along and see these amazing games of Basketball over the weekend, students will be admitted free and if a St Joey's student presents their Student ID Card, one parent will also be admitted free.

This is a great opportunity to see Australia's best athletes compete in a fierce competition.  They are only in the Illawarra this weekend.
