Parent Teacher Interviews - Year 11 and Year 12
Year 11 and 12 Parent-Teacher Interviews - Tuesday 9 June
Parent-Teacher Interviews for Stage 6 students will be held next Tuesday (9 June - Week 7). Due to current social distancing restrictions, we will be trialling a new approach by Zoom.
Information was sent out via compass this week and can also be found here:
A couple of things to note:
- Parents are requested to make an appointment with staff they wish to talk to view Compass (refer to parent information sheet regarding how to make bookings)
- Staff will give priority to parents waiting that have made an appointment. Due to limited time staff may not be able to connect with parents that have not made an appointment. If this is the case you are welcome to contact the teacher and make an alternate time to catch up during school hours
- Staff have been advised to keep interviews to a maximum of 7 minutes. This is to allow staff time to end the interview and begin their next interview. If this is not enough time to discuss the progress of your child you are again welcome to make another time to continue the discussion during school hours.
- Be aware all meetings are recorded by default on Zoom. To start the interview you will be required to start the video for each conference you have. This is so staff are can see who they are meeting with.
- As this is the first time we have implemented this process for interviews we are asking staff to complete a short survey on the process at the completion of your last meeting to enable us to determine how effective the process has been and any tips to improve for future. We thank you in advance for your support of this process.
