We offer a huge congratulations to all of our Year 12 Creative Arts students who have completed their Submissions in Art, Music, and Drama. After a difficult year, it has been a wonderful achievement. They are now just working through the written exams as they come up- with Music already completed. Well done everyone.
ARTSTOBER HALLOWEEN SPECTACULAR
In week 3 the Creative Arts Department will be presenting a special week of Creative Arts events including:
Guess The Tune, Drawlloween - a drawing a day.
During the week we will have a wonderful Artist in Residence program resume with local artists Iain and Kristina Whittaker, who will be working in recycled fabric and other sculptural media to create costumes, masks, and imagery with selected students for the purpose of a Multidisciplinary Arts Performance and film installation to be revealed on Friday 30 October.
Next Friday, the week will culminate with a Halloween Spectacular accessory being able to be worn by all students in 7, 9, 10 and 11 for the school day. (Year 8 will in Hawaiian dress for their own special day).
