Years 7-11 students return on Monday 25 October
Parents are asked to support their children to prepare themselves so that they are fully equipped and ready to learn well when they return to classroom learning. This includes getting all items of summer uniform ready over the weekend and packing their bags with books, a fully charged laptop/iPad, a calculator and other stationery needed to successfully engage in learning. Where possible, a range of practical learning activities will be included with students having expressed their keenness for these types of opportunities which they have missed during remote learning.
Getting students back into school routines
At the start of the day on Monday 25 October, Years 7-11 students will be in their normal Homeroom classrooms for roll call. PALS will then deliver assemblies via Zoom for Stages 4 and 5, and Year 11. Years 7-11 will then participate in wellbeing activities led by their Homeroom Teachers.
For the remainder of Week 4, Years 7-11 students will have extended Homeroom until 9:55am each day to facilitate their participation in some structured wellbeing support time. The purpose of this time is to support students to reconnect and make the necessary adjustments as they transition back into learning in the School setting.
