Hockey 

On the 30th of May we had 3 students travel to Bathurst to attend the NSW CCC Hockey trails. 

Robert Frew was selected in the Open's Hockey team as well as Zali Schofield and Charlee Buckman who were selected in the under 16's Hockey team. Congratulations to you all, this is such a wonderful achievement. 

Athletics 

Tayissa Buchanan has been selected for her second year in the ANSW Targeted Talent Program (TTP) for the 2022 squad. The TTP is part of a high performance pathway, focusing on talent identification and building social networks between junior athletes, along with encouragement, motivation and guidance.  First thing on the agenda for them is a weekend training camp at SOPAC in early July. Well done and good luck Tayissa! 

A huge congratulations to Grace Pomery on her selection in the NSWCCC Cross Country team. Grace will now compete in the NSW All Schools State Championships in July. Very best of luck to you Grace!

Netball Clinics 

Our final Netball clinic with Susan Petite will be held this week. Our coaches will be finalising teams for the upcoming Diocesan Carnival to be held in Narellan, early in term 3. Thank you to all the students who have participated in the clinics so far. I hope you have all enjoyed yourselves. We look forward to being able to attend a Diocesan carnival in term 3 given the unfortunate cancellation of our Hockey and Volleyball carnivals this term. 

This year see's the introduction of a brand new Rugby League Pathway for girls. Student's nominate and await successful nomination to attend the selection trials. Congratulations to Hunter Graham who has been selected to participate in the 2022 combined Wollongong & Western Diocese Southern Country 16’s Girls Rugby League Trials. Good luck Hunter! This is such an exciting new pathway and opportunity for young girls who want to excel in the sport of Rugby League.
