Netball
Junior Netball Team
The junior team played a total of 9 games in division 1. Every player in the team gave their absolute best effort and never gave up. We faced some tough competition and the girls had such a positive attitude in each and every game. The girls demonstrated great skill and sportsmanship and were a pleasure to Coach on the day. Every member of the team supported each other and represented our school with pride. Congratulations to all those who represented St Joseph’s in the junior netball competition. Well done!
Intermediate Netball Team
Our 9/10 girls were challenged with some fierce competitors. Students from Year 7 played up and stood up to the challenge of the older age groups. All girls took the day as an opportunity to play in positions they were unfamiliar with and built their netball skills as a result. Good job girls!
Senior Netball Team
The Div 2 11/12 Netball team started off with flying colours, winning their first game 7 to 1. Over the day, the girls all displayed growth in both their on court skills and team collaboration as they continued to strengthen their plays and ultimately remain undefeated. It was a great day had by all, with the behaviour of all team players reflecting the values of the school. The whole team should be immensely proud of their performance and conduct on the day.
