School Shoes for the New Year
As we break for the Christmas holidays, I would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents and carers of the regulation school shoes which are a compulsory part of the St. Joseph's school uniform.
In preparation for the start of the 2021 school year, we remind parents and carers that the shoes that are required to be worn at St. Joseph's are polished, plain, black hard leather lace-up school shoes.
The shoes to be worn with the sports uniform are non-fluro coloured sports joggers.
The following images are provided as clarification of the acceptable school shoes.
*Skate-style, Vans, canvas, Converse or slip on shoes are not permitted as these do not meet the school's work, health and safety requirements.
I would also like to congratulate our students for their fine efforts and achievements this year, and to wish all members of the school community - students, parents and staff a blessed and peace-filled Christmas and a prosperous year ahead.

2020 Sportsperson of the Year Award
2020 has been a challenging year with Covid 19 putting an abrupt end to the majority of school-based representative sporting events. Despite this, we have had many athletes continue with their sporting endeavours outside of school and achieve outstanding results.
This year, we have extended the criteria for the 2020 Sportsperson of the Year Award to include sporting achievements outside of school-based pathways. We had over 40 nominations for this prestigious award. The 12 finalists (in no particular order) are:

SCHOOL FEES
FINANCIAL ROLLOVER 15th DECEMBER
School fees are essential for the financial viability of Catholic schools. Upon enrolment of your child you have given an undertaking to meet payment of school fees as they fall due. School principals have the responsibility of ensuring school fees are collected.
The Catholic Education Office has strict guidelines, so it is suggested that all overdue payments are required now to avoid further action. Only four weeks until the School's Financial Rollover. If you are experiencing genuine financial difficulty and are unable to pay the account, there are concessions available which may be of assistance. You may wish to complete an Application for Fee Concession or a COVID-19 Fee Concession form enclosed. The process of concession involves completion of an Application for Fee Concession with supporting documentation. Thank you
Direct Debit Payments cycle over the holidays will remain the same except for Public Holidays. Payments will be taken out the day after.
