Dear Parents, Carers and Students

I wish you all the best for the school holiday break.  May you be safe and enjoy the time with your families.  

Please be aware of the following arrangements for the first week week of Term 3:

• Monday 18 July - This is a pupil free day as our staff will participating in a staff development day.
• Tuesday 19 July - All students will be returning to school for the commencement of Term 3.  

The Uniform Shop will be closed during the school holiday period and it will reopen on Monday 18 July, 2022 from 11.30am to 4pm.   Please check your child's uniform to ensure they have the correct winter uniform items including blazers for the return of Term 3.

Semester One reports have been made available through the Compass Portal and a final reminder that parent teacher interviews are being held on Wednesday 20 July for our Year 7-10 students.  The interviews are being held via zoom starting from 3:45pm until 8pm.  If you have not already done so, I encourage you to make bookings via the Compass Portal to speak with your child's teachers.

Across Term 2 Year 8 have been developing their rhythmic movement skills at Gravity Gym Warrawong. Students have learnt a range of skills using a variety of equipment including the Ninja Warrior Course. 

Due to Covid, unfortunately our library has been out of action for our junior school but in Term 3 we have planned some exciting developments….

The library will be open to all ages from the start of Term 3 and there will be a variety of activities including the following:

- Tuesday Book Club
- Homework Hub - Monday to Friday lunchtime
- Impromptu Public Speaking
- Premier’s Reading Challenge continues

Our Premier’s Reading Challenge is now in full swing, students are borrowing books during their English lessons and are encouraged to continue reading. We have some great new young adult fiction titles that have just arrived and will be ready for you to borrow early next term.
